Inspector Credentials

When hiring a home inspector it is important to choose an individual that is qualified to do the job. A property inspection is a specialized technical overview of a building that requires proper training and experience.

Specialized training is the most important requirement for a professional home inspector. Inspection Training Associates (ITA) is the worlds largest provider of home inspection training, with the most comprehensive training programs available to home inspectors today. As a certified inspector of ITA, I uphold the standards and ethics of ASHI.

I have completed the National Home Inspector Exam and I am NHIE Certified. The Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors is an independent examination organization whose objective is to promote excellence and exemplary practice within the home inspection profession and to serve the public through its quality assurance efforts. The National Home Inspector Examination is a content-valid examination for use by regulatory bodies and membership organizations.

I am certified by the ICC as a Residential Inspector. The International Code Council, a membership association dedicated to building safety and fire prevention, develops the codes used to construct residential and commercial buildings, including homes and schools. Most U.S. cities, counties and states that adopt codes choose the International Codes developed by the International Code Council. Member # 5316795

I am certified, through training and testing, with ProLab and The Environmental Assessment Association to perform mold and radon inspections.

I maintain Errors and Omissions and General Liability Insurance.
